The old Latin slang term ‘word of mouth’ provides the inspiration for our studio’s name, emphasizing the importance of fostering community in all that we do.
From the sun-washed hills and scrub brush of southern California, Kelly was born to make things with her hands. Drawn to the wild and thirsty beauty of nature and flowers from an early age, Kelly combined her deep-rooted fascination with her love of people to become a successful and purposeful floral designer. After working in the wedding industry for 15 years, a pesky idea arose: what if the process of selecting flowers was much more simple and stress-free? What if you worked with the seasons and let them inspire you? Letting this idea grow, Kelly founded vivavoce in 2015 with a sturdy pair of clippers and bucket-full of moxy. Each new project Kelly conceptualizes is tended to with immense care and attention to detail, holding fast to her desire to deliver a product that represents the taste and vision of her clients and honor the stems involved.
